I work in circus theatre, where I use juggling, clown and research based practice as mediums to communicate bigger ideas. As a professional juggler, I have performed internationally at venues and circus festivals across the world, both with established companies such as Gandini Juggling and with my own devised work. This has been indoors and outdoors at various different events, scales and contexts.

Film has been a part of my practise ever since I was a teenager, when I joined a local filmmaking group at the age of 14. Now I use film both as an alternative medium of expression and as an integrated part of live performances. During the covid lockdown, I undertook a practice in which I committed to making a short film every day for a year. This led to the creation of a film called Tough Crowd which explored public space, privacy and circus in the virtual landscape and was selected for the Circus International Film Festival in 2022. I’ve also gone on to create a larger film project, Site-Specific, which is the culmination of this work where I explore juggling in public space using parkour, dance and slapstick. I recently created and self produced a circus theatre show Hiding in Plain Sight, a show with integrated projected film, alongside juggling, puppetry and physical comedy. Working with another artist this became the double-bill Tongue & Cheek, which premiered at Circus City in Bristol to a sell-out audience and has since been programmed at Jackson's Lane, London and Brighton Fringe with the Revel Pucks, Circus Yard. As a duo we are now seeking funding for a tour.  

My newest project, GREY AREA, is a continuation of these themes by interacting and creating with the built environment to create a new outdoor circus show where the audience is invited to join me on this exploration as I show them my gentle research. My actions draw attention not only to myself, but to the architecture itself all through a neurodivergent lens.
